A few words

ABOUT US

“A better Tomorrow, One Day at a Time”

Our history

Our story started after seeing the depth of the impact that the Covid-19 Pandemic had on families in our community...

The pandemic hasn’t been easy for anyone, but for some families it’s been absolutely devastating. Loved ones have been lost, jobs have been lost, and in the darkest moments, even hope has been lost. As a result, many families throughout our community have had unexpected financial pressures placed on them and are struggling to get by.

The Better Days Foundation was started as a way to support Black Comunities enduring hardships caused by Covid-19. Initially, our goal was to provide food, school supplies and warm clothing for black families per month. However, once we started brainstorming we realized that we could have a greater impact on our community as a whole. We are currently planning fun (and safe) community building fundraisers to bring families and members of our beautiful community together to support our cause of poverty alleviation.

We believe that no family should have to choose between sending their children to school with a healthy lunch and keeping the power on in their home. We also believe that the only way to overcome adversity and push towards better days is to do it together as a community.
